The 6th Annual BRTC Foundation Gala has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 6, according to Ann Savage, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at BRTC. Tickets for this elegant event are now on sale at a cost of $125 per couple, which includes dinner, valet parking and coat check. Limited seating is available,” said Savage, “so individuals are encouraged to purchase tickets early.”
The Gala will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Randolph County Development Center and will feature fun-filled silent and live auctions. To date, items donated for the auctions include: three-piece Razorback art; overnight fishing trip at Buck Hollow; original pastel by local artist Nancy Robert; Lab puppy, dog house, vaccinations, and dog food; collector 8760 John Deer toy tractor; Razorback art by artist Sean Shrum; and a St. Jude cookie jar.
Other items are: paintings from the Sara Howell Gallery; diamond necklace; autographed book by Ed Bethune; two tickets for the grand re-opening of the Imperial Dinner Theatre – “Runs in the Family” performance; three free months of 20 MB internet service from Suddenlink; leather Coach hip slung purse filled with cash; gourmet candy from the Candy Emporium; unlimited range balls for one year at Rolling Hills Country Club; and a pair of hand-carved, hand-painted crankbait lures by Steve Hackworth. Several more items are expected to be added.
“An added flare for this year,” Savage explained, “is that one individual will be recognized as the recipient of a scholarship naming opportunity. The individual’s name will be drawn from those purchasing tickets prior to March 2 and announced during the Gala.”
Proceeds from this Coat and Tie event will assist the Foundation in providing scholarships and other needed services to the college, the students, and the community.
Tickets may be purchased from any Foundation Board Member or by calling Vickie French at (870) 248-4070.
