WHAT: A $2,000 scholarship for technical education students and a customized Westward® toolkit from the leading supplier of facilities maintenance products, Grainger.
WHO: Eligible students must be entering their final year of technical education studies at this school in 2012 and enrolled in at least 12 credit hours. Areas of study include: electronic systems, heating/air conditioning, plumbing, welding, automotive, construction, facilities maintenance or other industrial trade. A limited number of scholarships will be set aside specifically for students who have served in the military. To apply for veteran scholarships, you must be honorably separated from the U.S. Armed Forces (Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines or Navy).
HOW: To apply, you must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, submit an essay, letter of recommendation along with other materials to the contact provided.
