The public, in addition to BRTC faculty and staff, will have an opportunity to meet the three finalists for the position of Vice President for Development at Black River Technical College during receptions to be held as part of the selection process. The receptions are scheduled for next week, July 28-30, 1:30-2:30 p.m. each day, in the conference room of the Business Technology Center on the Pocahontas campus.
Monday will be the reception for Howard Moore, Jr., of Ripley, MS; Tuesday for Dina Hufstedler of Walnut Ridge; and Wednesday for Karen Liebhaber of Pocahontas.
The three candidates were chosen as finalists by a committee consisting of faculty, staff, administrators and board members after Skype interviews were conducted last month. Hufstedler is currently Director of Community Development at BRTC. And Liebhaber is currently an instructor of English, literature and technical writing at BRTC.
