Black River Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Agriculture Instructor. The Agriculture Instructor works under the direct supervision of the Dean of General Studies and Vice President for Academics and is responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in agriculture, including Precision and Agriculture Technology. Instruction will include software applications; installation and troubleshooting of hardware; GPS; GIS; UAS; remote-sensing; soils; and plant and animal science. Student advisement and committee activities are also required for this position as well as maintaining a commitment to student recruitment and retention. Summer employment and overload classes are possible. This is currently a grant-funded nine (9) month position beginning August 12, 2019.
Applicants must have a master’s degree with eighteen (18) hours in the subject area. Preference will be given to the applicant with teaching experience at the collegiate level.
