The BRTC bookstore features new and/or used books for every class offered at BRTC. The bookstore also has clothing, backpacks, gifts, cards, health and beauty aids, and class and nursing supplies. Don’t forget the fall and spring book buy-back held during the last day of finals. Students can get cash for most of their used books during this one day event.
The BRTC library has over 25,000 materials for students’ use. The knowledgeable library staff is willing to help any students, whether on-campus or online, with reference material, CD-ROM and online indexes and database, as well as locating information and references.
If you feel like you need extra help in your classes, the Academic Learning Center offers tutoring in math, English, science, and computer concepts. Tutors will also work with students to improve study skills as well as provide assistance with course content. If you are unable to meet with a tutor on campus, online tutoring is available 24/7 through Smarthinking.com. Smarthinking can be accessed through the Students Lounge page of your Moodle account.
Students can use Campus Connect, the college’s registration and grade management system, to
- register for classes,
- check their mid-term and final grades (mid-term grades are not mailed to students),
- review their accounts and financial aid,
- pay on their accounts,
- view their current class schedule,
- look at their degree plan,
- view their unofficial transcript, and
- update their demographic information.
