Graduates of the Associate of Applied Science in Nutrition and Dietetics degree are prepared to assume duties of mid-management positions between the registered dietitian and food services supervisor. In this career-laddering program, students gain necessary skills to become a dietary manager at the conclusion of the first year. Graduates are prepared to function as a member of a health care team and to manage food facilities. Graduates are eligible to sit for the exam given by the Commission on Dietetic Registration to become a Dietetic Technician, Registered.
Those completing the AAS degree are prepared to transition into a baccalaureate degree program in articulated university programs.
