BRTC Interim President Dr. Jan Ziegler is pleased to announce the promotion of Sissy Gray from the position of Dean of Assessment to Dean of Assessment and Accountability.
“I have discussed with her what her role going forward should be in order to maximize her skills,” Dr. Ziegler said, “and at the same time continue to move this institution forward in terms of our accreditation quest and our commitment to being a new environment marked by a culture of evidence of continuous improvement.”
Gray’s duties will include guiding BRTC’s assessment of student learning, administrative support unit assessment, and coordinating the initial planning and development phase of BRTC’s shared governance initiative. She will report to the president and be a member of the President’s Cabinet.
Gray assumed the new role on October 1.
