On October 19, BRTC advisory boards attended their fall meetings and had dinner together at the Pocahontas of BRTC. Advisory committees are comprised of working professionals in various fields who provide input and advice to BRTC’s technical and professional programs. Advisory board members are integral to insuring that BRTC academic programs are meeting the needs of business, industry, the community, and students.
Programs supported by advisory committees include technical programs like welding and electricity, service programs such as law enforcement and fire science, health programs such as nursing and respiratory, and professional programs such as agriculture and business.
